Neuropsychiatry deals with mental diseases of the nervous system. Neurologists mainly focus on the nervous system especially of brain, while psychiatrists focus on mind illness. The difference between brain and mind is described by the distinction between the two specialities. Earlier, there was difference between two of them but in recent years doctors have training in both.
Neuropsychiatrist checks the patient suffering from illness and injuries to the brain as well as nervous system. Neuropsychiatrist is only kind of psychiatrist who is unique. These specialists study both neurologic problems and psychiatric. He mainly treats the patients who suffer from neurologically based behavioral challenges.
